Camp at the J offers a variety of fun and educational programming taught by expert specialists. Enrichment activities include archery, arts and crafts, sports, drama, and much more. These activities foster friendship, build confidence, and offer opportunities for campers to learn new skills.
Camp at the J incorporates values-based learning where children learn about core values of respect, kindness, and community. Campers learn about Israel and international Jewish life through lessons and interactions with our Sh’lichim, counselor friends from Israel. At the end of each week, we gather for Shabbat Sing, where we celebrate our camp community and give out weekly awards.
Campers are divided into age-appropriate co-ed groups. Each group is then divided into bunks of 15-20 campers to maintain a low staff-camper ratio and encourage small group bonding.
- Pioneers (Kindergarten)
- Trailblazer (Grades 1 – 2)

Each camper enrolled in traditional camp will take swim lessons with our highly trained lifeguards based on their ability in the water. Our camp aquatics program is designed to teach campers about water safety, stroke development, water sports and games, rescue, and personal growth skills with time for free play in the water.
Field Trips and Special Guests
Every week is filled with fun events! Raiders and Quest (Grades 3 – 8) will enjoy weekly field trips, such as Kings Island or to a Reds game. Our youngest campers will enjoy visits from special guests, including animal experts and a visit on from Amberley Village Fire Department on their fire truck!
