Philosophy & Curriculum
The JCC Early Childhood School strives to provide young children with a quality educational program in a secure, loving environment. We seek to partner with our families so together we can build a strong academic and social foundation for each child’s future. To achieve these goals, our highly educated staff draws on more than 75 years of combined experience to provide an enriching, developmentally appropriate curriculum that encourages both a love of learning and a positive self-image. We work to help children gain an awareness of themselves as individuals and as members of our community, within a setting based on acceptance, respect, caring, and reassurance. Children are encouraged to learn and explore as they grow and develop.
The daily curriculum incorporates many enrichment activities, such as music, fitness, swim lessons, yoga, and gardening. The children learn through guided play and at their own pace to build confidence, problem-solving skills, independence, and self-esteem. We use the Sheva framework as a guide.

The Early Childhood School at the J is a secure environment.
All tours must be scheduled in advance with the school director; for security purposes, walk-in tours are not permitted.
